Coach Dennis Hanna

Coach Hanna has been coaching for over 30-years. Coach retains a passion for playing the game, developing players and teaching youth the game of basketball. Coach Hanna is married to Anjanette, with with three amazing children, Lloyd III, Erin and Taylor. Coach served as Athletic Director for the Salvation Army Northwest Community Center for over 10-years. Coach Hanna played for Suncoast High School and graduated in 1987. He earned a basketball scholarship to St. Johns River Community College in Florida, successfully serving as a 2-year captain, then transferred to Kentucky State University where he was again named team captain and played in the first black college AllStar game in North Carolina. Coach Hanna graduated from KSU in 1993 with a degree in Physical Education. He later served as recreation leader for the City of Riviera Beach Recreation Department, coach for the Riviera Beach Flames, varisty coach at Suncoast High School, and head coach at Wellington Christian School, all before starting his own traveling team, the First Choice All-Stars where he has led his team to multiple USSSA State and National Tournaments.
