Rob Shawger

Rob is the operational leader of the First Choice All-Stars and a source of leadership and inspiration for our kids and their families.  He is married to Karen Shawger and they have one son Patrick Shawger.  Rob graduated from Richmond University in 1992 where he was a four-time first team all Colonial Athletic conference winner in golf. Rob was voted player of the year in 1991 and in 2021 he was named one of the Top 25 Golfers in the past 25 years for the Colonial Athletic Conference. Rob was a professional golfer from 1993-1996. Since 1997 Rob has worked in the financial industry, with a great deal of success. Rob is also the owner of Palm Beach “foodie” staple “Pig Beach BBQ” currently located in New York and West Palm Beach.  Rob has coached two-years of youth basketball with the Palm Beach Garden Stars for three years and one-year with the First Choice Allstars. Rob has a deep passion for helping young people define and achieve their dreams.
